American Bulldog Animal Rescue Resource....?

A friend and his wife are moving and cannot take their American Bulldog with them. He has papers, shots, etc. and is a sweet, loving lug of a guy. Excellent with children and strangers. Anyone know of a rescue resource in Southern California or a clearing house where he can be adopted out to a certifiably good family? Thanks.
