Groin numbness...started from cycling?

You will have to keep looking for a doctor who can figure out what is wrong. If you haven't been on a bicycle for many months and the condition keeps getting worse it is not that likely that cycling is the cause, but it is still possible that riding your bike may have initiated the process. Numbness can be caused by things other than cycling and cyclists who do experience a problem may well be prone to it in the first place. There are plenty of riders who seldom or never have a problem. One thing: sitting still on the saddle and never moving while riding for hours is not a good idea, you have to shift around from time to time, and get out of the saddle once in awhile.
