Political Correctness in our schools?

I want your opinion on it. From what I'm hearing, everything in the schools is becoming more politcally correct. Next thing you know they'll be making kindergardeners learn to read books like "Daddy's New Boyfriend," or "Accept Everyone and What they Do." Comments? No blanket statements.
