Does hurt if its your first time .. please help my wedding is in one week?

Hello, Im worried about having (wedding night) for the first time as I heard that it hurts? What would you compare the pain too? Please be honest. If it hurts too much I may have to abstain for awhile. Im really sensitive to pain and am really worried. People say to use lubricant .. but if it hurts I wouldnt be able to go through with it...
