Why are the liberals ridiculously accusing Texas of politicizing textbooks?

I agree with you. While I think Smith, Marx and Keynes are much bigger names than Hayek or Friedman, I don't see anything wrong with putting in some stuff about supply siders. Maybe it's a little politically motivated, but not so much so that I find it a problem. I would only have a problem if they put in some no name goof ball or if they completely removed leftist economists.
