DS Simpsons help?

Im on a level where there is a building saying Next gen-erator anyways there is Bart and Lisa..I got bart on top of the crates and Barrel building. I then had to use the giant hand to get lisa to where he is. Now all i can do is use the giant hand but it doesnt seem to affect anything...i cant move anything.
