My 15 month old daughter won't eat most of the things we eat and sometimes she won't eat at all. Help?

My daughter is the same way..she has been this way sense she was 1 years old..she is now 3 and still is this way...I basically just have to ask her what she wants to get her to eat..I also found that alot of kids go though this faze..its a control thing the one thing that they can control..I have learned that when she is hungry she will eat..as far as getting her to sit in her chair..maybe put on some tv to distract her or talk to her ..these are the things I have to do sometimes..I know its hard lol believe me I know..GL
