Sand stuck in my camera HELP!!?

I have a casio exilim camera and over the weekend me and my cousin went to the beach and i brought my camera but my cousin must of dropped it in the sand when she was taking pictures or laid it in the sand now that i want to turn on my camera its says lens error and doesn't let me take pictures or anything. I was wondering if there are any fixes that can be done, i've tried taking out the battery, blow drying the particles out, using a needle to remove the sand but nothing helps it continues to stay the same :(
