Scratching index finger in palm during handshake?

last night i was at a place with some friends and there was this one guy who gave me a strange look. i just ignored it but when he got up to leave he shook all our hands and when he shook my hand i felt his index finger scratch my palm. now idk wut the f that means but it freaked me out. wut the f does that **** mean?
