Why do apologists keep comparing Iraq with World War II?

Personally, I don't like the way the Bush administration handled 9/11. When the planes flew into the towers, killing innocent AMERICAN people in MY state of NY, I would surely have bombed every square inch of ANY country that supports terrorists. I would have nuked all of Arabia. I would have then simply taken all the oil. I would have searched every single Muslim Mosque in the USA, and investigated every single Muslim for links to terrorism. In other words, I would defend this country I love, and I would not have screwed around. Thank you.
